Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you deliver?
We offer delivery to Cirencester and Cheltenham. Cirencester delivery is Monday and Cheltenham delivery is Thursday.
Do you offer postal delivery?
Unfortunately we do not currently offer postal delivery, due to the delicate nature of our cakes and the cost of chilled transportation.
Can i collect my ice cream cake?
If you’d like to collect your own ice cream cake from our farm, please drop us a message and we can organise this for you.
Are you open to the public? Can I just turn up?
No, we are not open to the public as we are on a working farm and therefore it is not safe. You can book a collection spot by contacting us in advance.
How long does it take to make an ice cream cake?
Due to the layered nature of our cakes, we need a few days to create each one. Please allow a minimum of 10 days. We make them fresh to order.
How much freezer space do I need to store?
Our Bruno cake comes in a clear box that is approximately 30 x 12 x 10cm.
Our layer cakes and bombes come in a 31 x 31 x 31cm box (unless otherwise stated on the item).
Do I have to keep it in the freezer?
Yes, these are made from ice cream and therefore need to be stored in a freezer until required.
How do I serve my ice cream cake?
To serve, it is best to remove your ice cream cake from the freezer about 10 minutes before serving. Using a hot knife will give you the best slices.
How do I store left over ice cream cake?
Unlike regular cakes, these ice cream cakes can be stored for up to 3 months in your freezer. We suggest to wrap them in some cling film and/or tin foil to stop freezer burn, if you plan to store them for more than a few days.
I have a query, where do I contact you?
You can contact us on hello@gelateaux.co.uk, or via WhatsApp on 07748636277. The signal in our kitchen is really rubbish, so we struggle to receive phonecalls, so WhatsApp is better.
