Hailing from the tip of the boot in Sicily, Bruno Bruco has traveled all the way by leaf boat to land upon your party table.

Bruno is the Dad of the Bruco Family. He is made with my Dairy ice cream and is covered in a milk chocolate ganache and colourful sprinkles. He has a happy little white chocolate face and he’s finished with white chocolate sneakers.

Bruno ice cream cakes. Move over Colin! THESE are the coolest caterpillars you’ll ever meet.

Hailing from the tip of the boot in Sicily, Bruno Bruco has traveled all the way by leaf boat to land upon your party table.

Bruno is the Dad of the Bruco Family. He is made with my Dairy ice cream and is covered in a milk chocolate ganache and colourful sprinkles. He has a happy little white chocolate face and he’s finished with white chocolate sneakers.

Favourite food: anything made by his Nonna (grandmother)

Favourite song: Nessun Dorma, which he likes to belt out at the most embarrassing of moments (according to his children)

Favourite pastime: Embarrassing his children (see above) and playing tennis – he can hold 4 rackets at once.

How To Serve

  • Please keep me frozen at -18°C until I’m needed.

To serve cakes:

  • To serve ice cream cakes, remove from the freezer 10 minutes before required, to allow the ice cream to soften a little.
  • Use a skewer dipped in hot water to make a hole for any candles or toppers – this bad boy is frozen hard and will happily snap any fancy additions.
  • To slice, a sharp knife dipped in hot water will give you the best clean slices.
  • Your ice cream cake can remain out of the freezer for up to 30 minutes (this is reduced in one of those crazy heatwave type situations!)

To serve pies:

  • All our ice cream pies will benefit from a few minutes out of the freezer before serving. Large pies can be left out for a bit longer.
  • To serve, a sharp knife dipped in hot water will give you the best clean slices.
  • Your ice cream pie can remain out of the freezer for up to 20 minutes (this is reduced in one of those crazy heatwave type situations!)

Left over ice cream

  • Should there be any left over ice cream, you can pop it back in the freezer for another day. We recommend wrapping it in some tin foil or clingfilm to stop freezer burn.
  • Your ice cream will last up to 3 months once opened/cut.

Ingredients

Full cream MILK, sugar, cream (MILK), base mix ((skimmed MILK powder, emulsifiers (E471, E477, E472b), LACTOSE, dextrose, dried glucose syrup, vegetable fat, thickeners (tara gum, sodium carboxymetylcellulose, guar gum), MILK proteins, maltodextrin, salt, flavourings)), skimmed MILK powder.

Our ice cream is made in a parlour that uses ground nuts, tree nuts, milk, wheat, gluten, eggs, fish, sulphites & soya.

Cake Size

This ice cream cake is approximately 3″ wide and 10″ long.

It comes in a square cake box – 11″ wide, 4″ tall.
